We’re changing the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) and Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) vehicle test times from 1 March 2016.
Between June and October 2015, DVSA published a series of Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) ‘help to get a pass’ guides. We’ve done this to help give you a better chance of meeting the required standards and getting a first time pass at an IVA inspection.
Today, 29 October, European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval (ECWVTA) now includes multi-stage build trucks, special types vehicles and trailers, and special purpose vehicles.
You will need Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) for trucks built in multiple stages or special types vehicles and trailers from 29 October 2014. This affects anyone who manufactures, builds and supplies these vehicles in low volumes.
